In this session, participants will learn about the Bookshelf and plan procedures to set students up for success. Participants will be able to answer the following: How will students know how to select their first book? How can I support setting students up to complete their first book with success? How can I kick-off our first year and set high expectations for this Small-Group rotation? Everyone will leave anticipating the gift that Independent Reading gives to Read 180 students.

This session kicks off with two successful Learning Models to develop proficient readers.
